Sigma Tau Delta



For Halloween 2010, DKI sponsored a Zombie Night screening of "Night of the Living Dead," introduced by Assistant Prof. Ursula McTaggart, Ph.D.

On Dec. 10, 2005, DKI presented a guest lecture, "Box-Office Inklings: C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien, and the New Middle Ages," by Prof. Steven Yandell, Ph.D., of Xavier University (Cincinnati).

DKI sponsored a visit to campus in April '03 by the Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival, with the support of the Student Government Association, the Department of English, and the Theater Department. A free performance of In Love with Shakespeare, a collection of Shakespearean love scenes was given in Boyd Theater at 6 p.m., April 16th, with admission free to both the campus community and the general public.

Delta Kappa Iota's charter was granted on November 23, 2001. Three of our members graduated spring 2003: Abby Baker, Chanda Valentine, and Rachel Colliver. Founding Chapter President Rachel Sexton graduated in December. Emily Herring and Ariana Ankeny graduated in spring 2004.


Officers (2004-05): Holly Hall, Brandy Phillips, Gloria Polly, and Katie Everson.


For Spring 2010: We hold informal biweekly meetings at Generation's Pizza in town, around 4:30ish (currently on Tuesdays).
