African Village Program to Culminate Black History Month at WC
'Music that Motivates' Spans Generations in Lives of African-Americans

Wilmington College’s annual African Village will highlight music spanning eras from genocide in Africa to the American Civil Rights Movement to the current generation Feb. 20, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the Top of Pyle.
The program, titled “Music that Motivates,” is part of the College’s observance of African-American History Month in February.
The evening will encompass storytelling, refreshments and cultural dancing, as well as the music that served as the soundtrack to generations in both Africa and America.
The Black Student Initiative is sponsoring this event, which is free of charge and open to the public.
