Renowned Quaker historian and author Paul Buckley will speak on the traveling Quaker preacher Elias Hicks (1748-1830) Wednesday (April 30), at 7 p.m., in the T. Canby Jones Meetinghouse at Wilmington College.
Wilmington College will conclude its four-month dialogue series on the world of Islam, “Pathways of Faith,” with a presentation by a scientist/educator Dr. Ashrah Traboulski Feb. 25, at 7 p.m., in the McCoy Room of Kelly Center.

Students are experiencing wide-ranging changes in their academic curriculum designed to broaden their knowledge and skill sets. Starting this fall semester, the College has implemented a four credit hour system and begun a new general education curriculum that utilizes infused skills.
Several years ago Ron Rembert developed a course at Wilmington College proving that two seemingly disparate topics — baseball and philosophy — could not only co-exist, but they complement one another. This year, the professor of religion and philosophy added a sort of otherworldly curveball to his popular class.
