January New Student and Transfer Orientation 2014
Dear New Student,
Happy New Year and welcome to Wilmington College! In order to introduce you to the WC community, and help in your transition to our campus, we planned a New Student Orientation Day on Friday, January 10, 2014. Please check-in at Pyle Center lobby between 9:30-10 AM. We will have a light continental breakfast inThomas Lounge, which is located on the first floor in Pyle Center. The program will begin promptly at 10:00am and will end by 4:30pm followed by an optional campus tour. Students living on campus may move into their residence hall rooms immediately following the program. The January abbreviated orientation program will cover basic campus necessities; computer account set up, important academic information, introduction to Student Affairs and campus involvement, as well as give students insight on what it's like to be a WC student in addition to things you need to know in order to make your journey at WC a successful one.
- All WC students MUST have a student ID card. If you have not had an ID made, please stop by the Housing office between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
- If you plan on having a car on campus, you will need to purchase a parking permit in order to park in any of the campus lots. Permits may be purchased at the One Stop, located in Pyle Center.
- All new students must attend Computer Orientation prior to being able to access their WC computer account. Please stop at the Help Desk in Robinson Communication Center (RCC) or call the Help Desk (x 459) to pre-register for the session that best fits your schedule. The session will last 30-45 minutes.
Please RSVP to Tara Lydy at 937-382-6661 x261 to confirm your attendance at this program.
