Each concentration within the Agriculture major requires from 32-55 semester hours of coursework. A total of about 60 semester hours must be added to the General Education Requirements to achieve 124 hours for graduation. This leaves room for taking courses in a special area of interest.

All Agriculture Majors must take three Common Core Courses totalling 9 semester hours. In addition, students must take a minimum number of courses in different technical areas to round out their education for that Concentration.

Only one concentration may be chosen by those selecting a major or minor in Agriculture. Students majoring in Agriculture may NOT also minor in Equine Studies.

Details of the coursework for each Concentration may be seen by choosing the particular area under the Curriculum menu to the left.
