Ana L. Lopez is a licensed professional counselor and a licensed social worker in the state of Ohio, Ana began her career as a paraprofessional, aiding families caring for special needs children, with the Early Intervention programs in Highland County in 1999. To continue her career goals, she obtained her associates from Chatfield College in 2001 and in 2003 graduated from Wilmington College with a Bachelor of Science degree in social work. Ana continued her work as a Service Coordinator and an Early Intervention Specialist with the Help Me Grow Program in Highland County, Ohio for 13 years.
In 2013 Ana obtained her Master of Education degree in Counseling and Human Development and began her career as a mental health counselor. Her counseling experiences include drug and alcohol counseling, as well as working in mental health clinical settings. She did her clinical internship at Shawnee University in the Mental Health Department and provided mental health counseling for students at the University of Cincinnati Clermont for 3 years.
Ana was raised in San Antonio, Texas and relocated to Ohio in 1987 with her husband of now 33 years. Her family includes two grown sons and a beautiful daughter-in-law.
When not working Ana enjoys crafting, gardening, listening to books on tape and lately has taken an interest in bird watching and researching American History.
