Daren, who grew up and resides in Chillicothe, received a bachelor’s degree in equine science from The University of Findlay and a master’s in business administration from Grand Canyon University. He has worked for many years in higher education, including 16 years at Columbus State Community College, where he was a financial aid advisor and most recently the scholarship coordinator. Daren has had a long history in the equine industry, including a successful training business and judging some of the largest horse shows in the country, such as the All-American Quarter Horse Congress and World Shows for most major equine organizations.
