Tiffany Lester is a board certified and licensed occupational therapist with over 21 years of clinical experience, specializing in adult physical rehabilitation and mental health services. She earned her entry-level occupational therapy degree from Eastern Michigan University in 2001 and her post-professional doctorate degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah in 2016. Prior to joining academia, Tiffany has worked in various adult practice settings; acute care, inpatient rehab, short term rehab, and home health. Tiffany also served as a Director of Rehabilitation and Regional Director of operations while working in clinical sites. Tiffany has been in full time academia for 7 years since obtaining her doctorate teaching kinesiology, medical conditions, adult intervention courses, and has fulfilled the role of faculty preceptor for fieldwork, academic fieldwork coordinator, and doctoral experience coordinator. Tiffany has conducted several research studies with a focus on student success and emerging trends in occupational therapy. Tiffany’s leisure occupations include anything she can do to spend time with her family and prioritize health.
