The Wilmington College men’s and women’s basketball teams will be introduced as the focal point of this year’s Hermann Madness on Tuesday (Oct. 29), from 9 to 10:30 p.m., in Fred Raizk Arena of Hermann Court.
WC’s Sport Management Facilities and Event class is organizing the annual event, which features a Halloween “Fright Night” theme along with games, prizes and plenty of school spirit.
Some of the evening’s highlights include a three-point shooting contest featuring three members of the Lady Quakers and then a dunk contest with four players from the men's team. The night’s grand prize promotion will be a chance for a student to win a trip to the NCAA D-I Final Four in Texas with the sport management students, who are working the event as a hands-on learning experience.
