Receiving Your Mail On Campus
We usually receive mail from the post office by 2 pm. Your mail will be in your box by 3 p.m., barring any catastrophes.
Renewing Your Mailbox
The Mail Room uses July 1 as a deadline for returning students to confirm their student status for the fall semester. Students who have not registered by July 1 will have their mailboxes closed and possibly reassigned. Students registering late will be issued a mailbox that is available at the time they register for classes.
Recommendations
Everyone taking classes is issued a mailbox. You often will receive important correspondence from the college, as well as letters from home; therefore, you are expected to check your mail box at least once a week or preferably once a day.
When you come to college you will want to stay in touch with all the people you leave behind: friends, siblings and especially Mom and Dad. If Wilmington is far from home or if your friends are going to be at other colleges, a lot of your contact with them could be through the mail. Therefore inform them to use the following address format when sending you mail and parcels:
Name
Pyle Center Box [Insert Box Number Here]
1870 Quaker Way
Wilmington, Ohio 45177
Sending Mail On Campus
Campus mail must have a name and a box number on it. You can drop it through the mail slot of the mail room door along with regular U.S. mail anytime night or day. Once you put the mail through the slot we will distribute to the campus mail boxes all day long. Outgoing mail leaves the college at 3 p.m. each day, Monday through Friday.
Sending Mail Off Campus
The campus post office can provide postage for your letters and parcels. We can provide various rates and services for what each specific transaction requires. We only accept cash or check for postage transactions.
