"To find commitment to purposes larger and more enduring by service to a troubled planet and active concern for a world of peace and freedom"
Each summer, Student Affairs hosts a Summer “Plunge,” for select incoming students. The Plunge hosts up to 30 participants from the first year class who are chosen during an application process. The five-day program is an opportunity to meet and get to know staff members as well as other student leaders, while establishing the framework for your own leadership development at Wilmington College. The WC Leadership Plunge has been preparing select students for campus leadership for over two decades and hundreds of Wilmington College students have participated. Many outstanding student leaders get their leadership foundation during this program, and they move on to become leaders of the Student Government Association, the Activities Programming Board, and leadership in various clubs and organizations on campus.
