Students in Wendy Grab's Introduction to Social Work class wished to support the relief efforts. In October, they promoted a drive seeking clothing and nonperishable goods. It netted boxes of items they delivered at Matthew 25 Ministries in Blue Ash for transport to Louisiana's bayou country.
"The students were concerned when Hurricane Laura made landfall and caused so much destruction for so many individuals and families," said Grab, assistant professor of social work. "The students wanted to take up the call to aid those in need. They really worked hard to show that there are folks who care and are thinking of the survivors."
