WC’s Community Health Fair to Feature Exhibitors and Blood Drive

Annual Event Draws Both Campus and Community Members Nearly four-dozen health and wellness-related vendors will be on hand to offer information, activities and samples at Wilmington College’s annual Community Health Fair March 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Hermann Court on Elm St. The event is free of charge and open to the public. Free T-shirts will be given to early arrivers, along with a chance for all participants to win prizes. Also, the Community Blood Center will present a blood drive held concurrently at the site. Sponsored by WC’s Wellness and Health Promotions Committee, the Community Health Fair will provide health and wellness info, promotional materials, related activities, samples and prizes. Several dozen vendors and organizations representing health-related goods and services will be on hand. Also, new this year, Paula Stewart, assistant swimming coach, will present educational sessions and exercise demonstrations.
